All 3 rats poo and wee in it, it absorbs the liquid and covers most whiffs. Being wood-based, it's biodegradable. I can't comment on how it compares to other types (clay, clumping, grit, fuller's) for being flicked around the floor, and that depends to some extent on how energetically they dig and bury. A 30 litre bag lasts 3 cats 1 week on average. 5 stars because we haven't used anything better (actually, we haven't used anything else at all in years).
I have been using this cat litter for several months and consider it to be much better than other cat litters I have bought. I will continue using this product as very satisfied.
